Community
Our mission is . . .
. . . To create a vacation and retreat center for plant-loving people to engage in healing from the Earth,
. . . To create loving and diverse community,
. . . To facilitate educational experiences for others,
. . . To grow food and medicine regeneratively and sustainably,
. . . To be respectful of Mother Earth and of each other in all of our endeavors,
. . . And to grow a field of lavender.
“You’re already home where you feel love.”

Dream it.
Puma, Jeannie, and Sofia met in a lavender field on summer solstice in 2020. They began discussing a variety of social issues while harvesting lavender. The discussions turned to LGBTQI+ discrimination and the importance of community. During their discussion, a rainbow appeared over the lavender field — a message from Spirit. Out of these discussions, a community was born at Spiral Mountain.

Build it.
Spiral Mountain currently has two residents, and we are looking for more. However, this community is not for everyone. Our application and vetting process is rigorous, and our expectations are high. All of our long-term residents are required to provide a “significant and ongoing contribution to the community.” If you’d like to learn more about the process of becoming a resident at Spiral Mountain, reach out to us.
