Our Lavender Farm

In 2018, Puma took a bold leap, leaving his job as an attorney to pursue his passion. He planted five thousand lavender plants, resulting in the creation of Old Field Lavender Farm in Ashe County, NC.

In 2022, Jeannie (Owner of Red Moon Herbs) and Puma made the decision to move their lavender from Old Field Lavender Farm to Spiral Mountain. With the support of our community, we planted over five hundred newly propagated lavender plants and transplanted over two hundred mature, five-year-old lavender plants.

At the close of 2023, we reflected on our first successful season of maintaining the new lavender field at Spiral Mountain. We are thrilled with the progress and feel optimistic about a bountiful harvest next year. We are deeply grateful for the support and dedication that has brought us this far.

Join Our Volunteer Work/Trade Weekends

When faced with tasks too large for our team, we turn to the community by hosting volunteer work weekends. This is how we planted our lavender field and orchard. During these three-day weekends, we provide meals and accommodations as we work together to accomplish our goals. These weekends have far exceeded our expectations, and we are immensely grateful for the support and camaraderie they bring. Join us for a rewarding experience of teamwork and connection!

Many of us have been running all our lives. Practice stopping.
